How we write and review
Our principles
- Official government sources are the authority. When we differ, follow the official source.
- Plain, respectful English. We explain acronyms the first time they appear.
- We never decide anyone's legal status, eligibility, or exemption.
- No invented citations, statistics, testimonials, partner logos, or endorsements.
- Sample job announcements and resumes are clearly marked as fictional.
Review status
Every guide shows its topic owner, official source, and review status. A guide shows "Verified" and dates only after a person has compared it with the official source. Until then it shows "Pending source review."
Time-sensitive rules are kept in one place so they can be updated consistently.
